The Alice L. Haltom Educational Fund was established by the Houston Chapter of ARMA as a non-profit Texas Corporation and contributions are tax deductible (IRS approved 501c3.)
Does your employer match your charitable contributions? Many employers who want to encourage and enhance their employees' support of charitable causes have created Matching Gift Programs. These programs are designed to match funds donated by their employees. In general, corporations match dollar for dollar donations given by their employees. Every employer that has a matching gift program has unique rules that govern what type of organization can participate and how much a non-profit organization can receive in matching funds. When making a donation, ask your Human Resource department if the Alice L. Haltom Educational Fund is an eligible organization and which form(s) are necessary to participate in the program. In order to appropriately recognize contributions, the following levels of donations have been established:
All contributions are acknowledged in the Houston Newsletter and Annual Houston ARMA Conference Brochure, and then publicized at the Annual Houston Conference Exposition.
